Good news! Collider is now available on the iPhone and iPod Touch! You can download it from here:

After completing my previous game, Block Drop, I wanted to do something completely different so I started experimenting with the Box2D Physics engine. Once I became comfortable with it, I started fleshing out the core elements of the game by introducing the rolling balls and then coming up with interesting obstacles and gadgets for them to interact with. When the idea came to make the balls annihilate each other, Collider really started to take off.

All of the music in Collider is dynamically generated and each level has its own unique composition.

I really enjoyed making this one and I hope you enjoy playing it!

awesome game

This game strongly reminded me of Marble Drop, which is another quite good game.

-I'd suggest reordering the levels again. The difficulty curve doesn't seem constant.
-A hint option would also be nice. Something that will correctly place one of the balls for you.

Fantastic

One of the best thinking games I've ever player. Very nice concept and the graphics are cool. Well done with the action scripting and planning out the levels.

Pelo says...

Pros?
~Very challenging.
~Addiciting.
~Simple.
~Nice graphics.

Cons?
~A few WTF levels.
~Some higher levels easily cleared directly after a difficult one.
~Showing number of attempts.

Overall?
This was a really fun game...and I only had to resort to the walkthrough two or three times (but only out of desperation). I thought the graphics were very well done, the physics quite smooth, and over a fun game. I didn't like, however, having the number of attempts show up after the level had raped me pretty bad (I personally think it's a way of saying screw you when it says it took at least 72 tries to get past a level).

Overall, a really fun game that I feel should be on the front page.
