Great art, good story, but...

..there's one thing that bothers me. The pace is -very- slow, and I don't mean the pace of the story. The way in which the story is presented forces us to wait for you to move to the next text bubble. Rather than put viewers on a track, why not include a clickable "next" button or a keypress that allows people to step ahead to the next text bubble in the sequence? I often found myself waiting a long time for the next series of words, and I think a change like this might help some of us with ADD keep our focus. XD

Almost good as the first one.

But stil it is very good made. I would like that the characters have their own voices, but that's you choice.
Can't wait for the next chapter.

Breath of fresh air.

It was great to see something refreshing on NG. The comic book style art was nice. Even though there was really no animation the art and story telling held a lot of power in making this successful.

The down falls are pretty obvious. Sound was ok actually but it would have been nice to hear more of the scenery instead of just the jazz in the back. You had the clocks ticking in the beginning but after that you kept away from hinting about the sounds in the background. Maybe some wind blowing or people talking in a lobby (the precinct). Things like that would help this be more immersive which helps keep it from being just a slide show comic book.

Animation will be hard to incorporate but maybe you can progress with this style and slowly add a scene here and there with some fluent motion.

And finally the art is nice but recycling expressions turns the viewer off. What this flash brings to the table that others don't is detailed and fresh art. Since there is no animation each scene has to be able to catch the viewers eye and recycling facial expressions and character frames is going to bore the viewer.

I'm definitely looking forward to chapter 3. Good luck on that.
