Bad gameplay
This game had nice graphics and an ok soundtrack, but the gameplay was really bad.
Just about every enemy fought with the same crappy strategy: run at you, swing wildly, and then jump randomly. Since there weren't any sort of combos, every battle was nearly the same, except some enemies took longer to fight.
Simply by standing still, mashing a, firing my special whenever I could, and turning around every once in a while, I was able to cut through every enemy and unlock all the characters. It took ten minutes, tops.
I didn't test out two player mode, so that may have been fun. However, if that mode is just as button mashy and repetitive as single player, I don't think it could be too good.
I'd say if you added things like combos, knockback, significantly different characters etc, the game would have been much funner. You made Hobo brawl after all, you really do know what you're doing.
Yeah I understand. The thing is Hobo Brawl took a few months of intense work, and I just don't have the time right now. I'm working on other more complicated stuff, dont worry.

I didn't really like it...
I found it... boring I have to say. To dull. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just think it could have been better. Sorry...
Don't worry, I agree with you. This is by far my least favourite game and I like it only for the 2 player mode. It's fun to play against a friend. I made this game purely to learn how to program statistix for characters and to try out a 2 player game. Making character stats in this game helped me a lot to make Ninja Brawl.

Meh...
It was okay. I guess you have to tap A to attack as fast as your opponent. There should be a blocking option, but I doubt it would be very good anyway.

Generic Button-Mashing Fighter Game
The graphics ain't bad and the game is very fluid, which is why I gave you 3 stars, but the game itself is really boring and consists entirely of mashing A as quick as you can. What's the point? I prefer games of skill or intelligence.
There might be some skill needed for this game, but will you find intelligence in this one? I dont think so :)

Yeha
I hate it. And I don't say that a lot. No story, No depth, Nothing but......well nothing. It is a little too hard but that isn't what bothers me. What bothers me is the complete lack of any effort whatsoever!
