How does large hail form?

Updrafts within thunderstorms push rain high into the cloud where very cold air freezes it. Once frozen it starts to fall but gets caught in another strong updraft where it gathers more moisture on its way back up making it larger. If the updrafts are strong enough they will continue this process for long periods of time allowing the hail to accumulate more moisture and more moisture. Updrafts can get so strong they even intrude into the stable stratosphere. When updrafts are this strong it becomes possible to suspend large hail for long periods of time further adding moisture to the hail, sometimes building it to incredible sizes.

This is why there's all that huge hail in the tornado alley! thanks for making my idea of hail so much easier. Joking! Loved it.

i was a little worried about this becuase it showed the EA logo at the bottom and i though it might be some boring commericalized game, but it was kind of fun

I liked it very much! It's just a pity, that when the hail is big enough, you can't keep it in air any longer (happened to me when just about 70m in diameter).

A Revolutionary Effing Step

Truly, the game is lovely on all accounts. Lets begin.

Sound- The explosions are bland but they fit. Upon closing my eyes I can -see- the hail flinging down on the unsuspecting. The music is also stellar, an upbeat atitudte that sits in the back of your mind as you play.

Graphics- The graphics sport a well-toned shade of a cartoon land. Though simple, the comedic referances to 'effing' are visible throughout it. They are simple, but good.

Gameplay- Truly, where the game starts out most strongly
Subpoint A Controls: Extremely responsive, giving you the ability to fling bits of hail down at lightining speeds.
Subpoint B The Timer: I actually like the timer, it puts a good stress on beating your old scores and trying to complete the object rather than launching hail at unsuspecting buildings.

This game really blows my mind. It plays well, looks well, sounds well, and all finishes the cake off with a cherry of humor. A great ride from start to end, so quit effing around and play it.
