This took long to make :P
My game has you tunneling around beneath the surface of the Earth in a Huge Drilling Factory stuck in a brawl with another Huge Drilling Factory.
Both giants can deploy smaller units to the field to gain an advantage.
You can also cut out and harvest blue crystals to increase your funds or send Saboteurs into the enemy factory to lower their equipment's strength.

----Basic instructions:
Each turn you can move each of your units.
Clicky clicky:
1) Click a green unit to select it (if it has a green light on it, it's turn hasn't yet been spent)
2) Click arrows to move.
3) Click red crosshairs to attack.
Hover on your main unit and click "Deploy" to get more units.
If you want more money blow up crystals and take their rubble

Drill ho!

Now, controls are a bit confusing and the enemy seems to get me cold whenever I meet him, but a fun game nontheless!
Would be nice to see some info on the units like movement rate in earth / tunnel and attack range.
I'll have to agree with neepsh1942: try to bring a ipod-version of this!

wierd...

u cannot choose with whom to move

shelalon responds:

Yes you can - unless they've already spent their current turn.
You can see this with the little Green/Red circle above the unit
Green- ready to act now
Red- cannot act now

Very good game

Hard mode is a little TOO hard though. It's the same problem with a lot of games- the computer AI is not smart enough so in order to increase the difficulty the computer simply receives much greater starting resources. That makes gameplay and strategy more mechanical than it has to be. Instead of a game of outwitting the opponent, it's now more of an exercise in finding the correct build step.

I tweaked the modes a bit.... now hard mode is not too hard because ALL modes are hard. :P

While it's true what you say and It's true that Hard mode permits less strategies to play around with than easier modes, it's like that in all games including the harsher edges IRL where you have to cut back on experimentation sometimes in order to save your life.

More specifically, I don't agree thers is one correct build order to win them all.
There are 2 crystals in every map. In Hard mode they're closer to the enemy start location.
So if you want any chance to win you need to build some Scouts at start, they are like Harvesters, and to get 1 crystal, but preferably both crystals, but besides this, I found many ways to beat hard mode with different units.

Totally Original, and very fun!

Great job dude! Very fun! Might I suggest that you make an Ipod Touch/ Iphone version? It seems (to me) like this game would turn out very well on that system.

Niiiice

I had fun playing it, and it lasted a good deal of time. Good job on the units, making each one serve a purpose, and the gameplay, which took a turn or two to get used to. This is yet another fun strategy game :D

I'm happy to see that it took only a turn or two to get used to
But apperantly not everyone understood it.... I think I need a (skippable) tutorial next time.
