Creative...yes...
...But also funny and thought provoking. It makes you wonder. Wouldn't he have died a slow agonizing death himself? If that gun went off and the glass broke...he would have been like...oh crap! Then flushed out with the glass and water. It worked well and the motion of the fish bobbing was seamless, that's a plus. A for effort.
