"Good, but repetitive"
I think a good way of improving the game would be to possibly add in some more features as you go through the levels like powerups or different types of enemies that drop bullets that bounce or something.
However, the game as it is now is very enjoyable and little touches like how the bullets change directions slowly when you flip the room make it even more fun.
A solid 7/10 and could be improved to at least 9/10 with a few additions :D
"Good game but..."
I suppose this would appeal to those who grew up in the 80's, when most games were fairly simplistic in design but it didn't to me. I grew up in the 90's so i was first introduced to games like Sonic the Hedgehog, and this is too simple for my tastes.
It's still a decent game though but i feel it may only appeal to a limited audience because of its simplicity.
I was born in '91, but the NES is still one of my favourite consoles.

nice retro feel fun gameplay however got boring after level 1 and the only real change is the second guy at the top overall needs something to make it replayable

A little extra features would have been nice. Maybe diff tune in diff levels? But I see your whole point was simple, to the point ,old school, fun game play. Its these kinds of games I end up playing for hours and end up looking like a crack whore. ThanX!
