Well, I didn't really get anything out of it. Maybe it's because I'm a guy, maybe it's because that darker stuff doesn't really hook me. But whatever, I still felt like writing a review because I liked your style of graphics. It was kind of a "gouachy" feeling to it. And even though it was sort of different, I liked the smoke effect from the cigarette...when she takes a drag on the street.
The downside of it, (for me anyway) is that it was going too slow. But I'm guessing it's to fit the whole mood of it. When you animate something, don't be afraid to have things moving around you. Should it be a panning shot, or some newspapers on an old street. I know it takes a little longer, but it's usually worth it...keeps the eyes on the screen.
Anyway, good job overall.
