HOPE, JOY and FEAR is one of the life's most powerful moments.
In this compilation I tried to offer abstract expierience of that moments trough
aestetics of super 8mm clips.
To watch clips you must drag 8mm roles into projector. This interactive flash is hommeage to forgotten technology and that whole 8mm experience (ritual of putting 8mm slides and watching your personal memories).
Visual style is minimalistic, just with lines and scratches which gave more 'feeling' to abstract nature of moments. Music is from Yann Tiersen, amazing musician and composer.

PS. My advice is to watch clips in order they are shown in the menu... ENJOY

oh wow

I must say, i really liked everything about this,
the simplicity of the draws, the interactive menu and the music
it was really interesting to see, and i really like the classic effect
you did.
And well is abstract but good

Very Cool.

Not very often these days do you see animators take a step back into something that is so simplistic, yet so powerful. I commend you for your courage as an animator and I look forward to watching your future work. BTW Yann Tiersen, great choice of music :D

Great stuff

Newgrounds doesn't get much of the much appreciated form of art portrayed here. More of the stuff here on this site is either blood or violence. Looking at this however, is very fresh to the eyes. Great job.

Very Well Done

This is a superb submission. I really enjoyed the animation. My only complaint is not really feeling each emotion you were trying to portry except fear. That one came across very well. Keep up the good work!
