HOPE, JOY and FEAR is one of the life's most powerful moments.
In this compilation I tried to offer abstract expierience of that moments trough
aestetics of super 8mm clips.
To watch clips you must drag 8mm roles into projector. This interactive flash is hommeage to forgotten technology and that whole 8mm experience (ritual of putting 8mm slides and watching your personal memories).
Visual style is minimalistic, just with lines and scratches which gave more 'feeling' to abstract nature of moments. Music is from Yann Tiersen, amazing musician and composer.

PS. My advice is to watch clips in order they are shown in the menu... ENJOY

Umm...

Yeah, I don't se any real point, but I thought the fear one was ok. The hope was too abstract and did not include a character to be hopeful. I like the oldtime look. The joy one was just running dancing and butterflies... ok. Not the most abstract. I liked the interacted flash thing. The joy and hope music weren't that great, pretty repetitive, but the fear music was great! I liked the end of fear... Thanks for the movie (at least the fear one)!!

So the point is: great job with the graphics you realy got that authentic old cartoon style and with these smooth animations it's perfect. :D Rely like the music too BTW. :)

An excellent dose of art

Well while none of the clips really had any story or point they were all very clever and very artistic.
I like that old time style fo yours it's really cool.
The last one with the hostage was probably the best.
It was also very original and interesting how we had to drag the film canisters to the projecter to play them.
So great job I say!
I would've given you a ten if the scenes had story's. But it was still very sweet.
