This is a trailer/introduction.
Created with LS Maker, video camera, and flash.
This took a long time and a lot of effort. Hell this was made when there was still snow on the ground as you can see in the flash itself. It's just being done now.
This is episode 1 of 3. The reason it's split up into three episodes is because the file would be way too big if we would try to fit it all into one.
Please enjoy and review. Leave your youtube comments to yourself and remember that every type of movie is welcome on newgrounds. Not just flash. Remember Numa Numa right?
Sorry for the bad quality in video and also audio, but it's the only way to get such a big file to fit without being like 50 MB's.
Watch the high quality version here. (minus the space)

Like always, thanks to http://miharuforever.newg rounds.com/ for doing the flash related things. He will be coed on the submission if he wants to be. I'll talk to him about it.
It would probably help if you watched Hay Wars first just so you knew what was going on and everything even though there isn't too much of a story yet. :)
This movie contained some really strong points, yet it seems so very unfinished. The little snowflake menu and the text graphics were a nice touch on the one hand, but the video quality leaves something to be desired, IMO. The camera work was really well done, but higher quality video would take this to a new level entirely.
The music was really probably the strongest point in this piece. You did a great job choosing a song to match the "epic" atmosphere you were trying to convey through the plot and dialogue of the movie. It really gave it a suspenseful yet silly feel at the same time. Nicely done there.
Oh, and you've got to synch those voices, man. >.<
Though there really isn't too much explained as to why this battle is going on, it is still quite interesting. I would suggest having a voice-over (you know, the classic movie trailer voice) describing some of the previous events that let up to that moment in the movie. It would really get the viewer more involved in what's going on.
As far as humor goes, there was certainly some present. I got a chuckle or two though some of the jokes were a bit on the corny side. :P
Overall, you've got some good potential here. Keep working on polishing it up and maybe add some more in-depth plot. I really see a nice series in the works, if you work at it. :D
Great ideas. I like some of them and will use some of them for sure in the future.
Thanks for the great review.
Great stuff guys, a good follow up to Hay Wars. I really enjoy your humor and the effort you put into making these. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot. I'm happy that you remember Hay Wars. That seems like so long ago when I submitted that.
It really is a lot of effort on both my friends and my part here.
Thanks for the review.
I did not like this at all. This stuff should be put on youtube I'm afraid.
The flash bits were good.
The music didn't go well.
The video was out of sync, in some places.
It was a home-made video.
In some places you couldn't even see what was going on because of the sun.
I hardly knew what happened throughout it when one shot the other guy.
The jokes were hardly funny.
The acting was quite poor.
Overall:- I am giving you 3/10 stars and voting 2.
Not good. Better luck next time.

You guys are really asses with the youtube comments.
Don't be ignorant about the youtube stuff, which sad to say you are really being dumb about it.
Youtube = girls laughing over something stupid or a kid skateboarding thinking he's cool
Newgrounds = Anything with animation
My movie includes animation, lasers, flash menu, etc.. If you want to see links to famous live action videos here on newgrounds I'll send them to you. Nothing more idiotic than a youtube review though.
IT BELONGS HERE NOT YOUTUBE
Leave that out and your review might be fine even though it doesn't tell me how to improve. None of your reviews really do actually. That means it's quite useless.
In the future leave out idiotic/ignorant youtube comments and tell people how to improve.
Other than that thanks I guess. I expected more help from the RRC though.
And no I'm not mad because of the score. You could have given me a 0 and I would have been perfectly fine with it if you wrote a helpful review that isn't ignorant. People can't seem to get that into their heads though.
I watched, reviewed and loved Hay Wars when it was first released, so I was really looking forward to watching this.
Graphics - 8/10 - The graphics done in Flash were quite good, my only gripe however was that the video was a bit pixellated, and at times with the sun shining over your shoulder it became difficult to see what was going on. However, I know converting video to flash can screw up the quality, so it's not really your fault.
Content - 10/10 - The dialogue and humour was corny as hell, but that's what I've come to expect (and enjoy ;P) from your work. Excellent stuff as always.
Sound - 9/10 - The music was fine (metal intro was awesome). Only small flaw was the voices, but I know you've worked hard to improve it as much as possible so it's not so much a criticism as an observation.
Overall - 9/10 - Loved this movie guys, keep up the good work and I look forward to viewing future installments.
Thanks for the brilliant review.
If you want to see the good/high quality version of the submission then check out the link that is in the author comments.
So are my jokes Corny as hell... or are they Corky? Perhaps that explains why my aliases on newgrounds is Corky. :P
No their Corny.. I know..
Wicked man, acting was great, good humor, Now all it needs is the war.
I'll be putting up our old Martial arts movies on youtube. I'm still working on the sound and stuff, they were all "VHS" back in the day, so the conversion is shit. Coulda used some real actors like you guys though. haha.
Maybe I'll hit ya up for some pointers. :D
Good stuff man, can't wait for more.
3.08 / 5.00 (+ 0.028)
Much appreciated man.
The war is in the next two episodes. (If they ever get done.. it's hard as hell to animate those lasers)
I wouldn't mind seeing your youtube movies. I have a Movie Makers club, which you can find linked on my blog so whenever you upload them link them to that club so I can check them out.
Thanks a lot for the review. Keep on making that kick ass music.
