First things first, this isn't stolen, we built it for Playstation to promote Patapon 2.
Its a rhythm game where you control the Patapon tribe using "pata" or "pon".

As with our last game, its not meant to be a exact replica, just a flash minigame taster.
The instructions are in the game but its really no more complicated than hitting the left arrow key for "pata" and the right arrow key for "pon" in time to the music. The Patapon will tell you what combination does what and when you need to do it.

Oh and finally - there is no drum sound when you press the keys because Flash 10 still cannot respond with audio on a key press without serious lag (on PC - better on Mac). And those few nanoseconds of lag totally throws out your timing when playing this. So we left the drum beats off intentionally.

Enjoy!

Never played the original, but this rocks!

First of all, I want to give this game points for originality, but unfortunately, it's a replica of some PSP game I've never played. That's one point off, sorry. Secondly, apparently this game has lag that makes it unplayable on a PC. (I use a Mac, so I wouldn't know.) That's two points off, sorry. Now, to gameplay faults... none. This game is amazing. You command your units like some kind of trippy RTS, by matching hot key combos to a perpetual drum beat in the background. It's a brilliant concept, and it works amazingly well. Plus, there are dozens of collectibles, and a feature that allows you to make custom wallpaper with screenshots. With visuals like this, it is a greatly appreciated feature. I recommend this game to anyone (I really do mean anyone) who uses a Mac or a super high-end PC. Thanks, Kerb!

Excellent!

I've heard of the Patapon game for the DS or the PSP (I really don't know.) But never actually played it. Seeing as how I own none of these two portable devises I was left without it but looking on at the excellent reviews. Now, I can see why. This game is excellent. I do wish the Drums were slightly louder. But if I had Patapon. I would surely play it for hours on end. Great job 8 outta ten!

Pon Pon Pata Pon

Excillent game! I love how its nothing like any other game. Its like a mixture of "Guitar hero-ish" and a RTS. I really hope this game takes off and people enjoy it like I enjoyed it.

very good imitation,but...

u cant hear your own drumming making it easy to mess up,making level 2 almost impossible on your first try,and dodonga almost impossible plus where's patapons' hud and why is there a time limit, but besides that, its a pretty good game for patapon 2 fans(like me)i give score of 8.5.good game!

It was okay

but the instructions needed some work. I know the guys says "wait for our response" but that should really be a bit more stressed. I kept issuing the walk order and thus they did not walk. It wasn't until my second play through to figure out I had to wait for them to walk before issuing the command again.
