First things first, this isn't stolen, we built it for Playstation to promote Patapon 2.
Its a rhythm game where you control the Patapon tribe using "pata" or "pon".

As with our last game, its not meant to be a exact replica, just a flash minigame taster.
The instructions are in the game but its really no more complicated than hitting the left arrow key for "pata" and the right arrow key for "pon" in time to the music. The Patapon will tell you what combination does what and when you need to do it.

Oh and finally - there is no drum sound when you press the keys because Flash 10 still cannot respond with audio on a key press without serious lag (on PC - better on Mac). And those few nanoseconds of lag totally throws out your timing when playing this. So we left the drum beats off intentionally.

Enjoy!

i rock at this game

i have played patapon 1 and 2 already finished 1 but im having a hard time in patapon 2 doing the egg missions to unlock other ancient patapon, patapon 2 is easier now since that when you get fever only 4 beats will make it fever while in 1 its like a random beat to become fever, sometimes 4-10 but mostly 10 beats if your not so much of an expert, if your a cheater(and im not saying i am) and have patapon go to gamefaqs.com and search patapon and click "save" and find what kind of save you like but this works only for psp you can do this cheat to in patapon2, hope this lets you buy or download patapon in your psp or watever console (mine is psp) so buy now!, patapon 2 is released now too

A great game!

I am very rhythmically inclined, but I had a hard time with this game. Since the voices were not synced to the beat, I hat to click slightly after the beat, making streaks impossible. Because this game was greatly executed in every other way, I'm going to assume that my browser or flash is at fault for this error. [:

I must say, I loved the art, and the game is very well produced. It is also very original and addicting. I will most likely purchase the actual game. (Assuming that there no sync problems exist in the actual game, it will only be 10x better.)

I know that this is more of a demo, but I would like to see it developed more. More commands. Maybe having it change a little would keep it interesting. Also, having off beat notes would make it a little more interesting as well. i.e. eighth notes, half notes, etc. But, maybe these are features of the full version.

This game deserves higher than what it has. If the the syncing was improved for those of us having problems, I am sure this rating will improve.

5/5 -- A very well executed and original rhythm game full of great art.
