Title:
Pilot like a Fox Part 1

Production #:
101 (For those of you who may be confused, this doesn't mean that this is the hundred-and-first episode, it means that this is the first episode of season 1)

Synopsis:
Private Dunkin has just been transferred to a forward operating base in Kuwait, and he's about to be introduced to a handful of the most, uh, 'interesting' group of people he's ever met.
---
Here it is, the pilot episode of Foxtrot: Forward Operating Base. I really hope you like it. The episode took me about 2 months to complete after I had finally gotten to work animation-wise. I'd also like to thank everyone who offered to do voice-overs for the series, I really appreciate all of that.

Thank you, and enjoy the show!

Fact! Real Life is Funny.

Sometimes life is funnier than fiction. As a US soldier, people can get a little bored on FOB's, and I've gotta say, the officers lose all of their spirit, the enlisted guys wont stop pulling dumb shit, and the commander thinks that his career is over when he's dealing with a private who flipped the HUMVEE by hitting a pothole when he was going 80 miles per hour down a dirt road. Why? For kicks. Nicely done, and I really like the art style and animation. Would love to see more of these.

those tired eyes

it's clear you enjoy doing what you do and it shows in your animation which is always nice as a viewer/animator. I really think this series has promise, you have some fairly on point comedy, and nice voice acting. For me your style is nice to look at but also hard to deal with character differences. without voice acting it was hard to tell those first two characters apart (when the helmets were on) so even though i do like the "dreary eyes" style maybe try expanding on it in someway and you'd have a real hit! i had that same experience watching "start the fire"

anyway great stuff look foward to seeing more from you :]

0 to 60

While the animation can be a little 'clunky' in comparison to some of the other submissions here, Rich591, in the time it took to watch just a few videos have become one of my favorite writers here. Foxtrot and just about everything else Advent Studios does is well timed, and it all flows well from thought to thought. Awesome work.

haha!

I love "just call me dick.... dick cheney"

I think you should do more to make the characters look more different from eachother, i had a hard time telling who was who if they weren't talking. Try using something like a different eye color, facial shape, or something on their clothign that would make them more identifyable (i know that defeats the purpose of a uniform, but y'know.)
