This was a good guide, I can draw and I can use flash, but i'm not very good at animating really. It's just a question of doing both of those. and drawing EVERY single frame is time consuming. You'd think that with all the latest technology that effort and skill isn't needed as much, but it is needed isn't it? You still need the skills of a traditional animator it seems :'(. Maybe I should give it a go again but I always get too nervous when something goes wrong with my animated flash, if it doesn't go to plan or if it's harder than anticipated. I bottle out dead early which I shouldn't really should i?
Peoplet thin film directing requires a lot of skill but animation is ten times harder isn't it. I guess the project management part of it is useful when breaking down a task to make the overall project less daunting, I dunno really.
