Hex Empire is a strategy game, a little similiar to Risk. It has simple rules (read in-game help) but absorbing gameplay on thousands of generated maps. I hope you will enjoy!

Holy shit this is cool and holy shit Hard level is completely fucking aggrivating. it isn't difficult, it's a fucking gangbang. EVERYONE GOES FOR YOU. i've slaved for 2 hours on hard and can't win. Even with a great start i can't seem to do anything to stop them from hitting me with large armies theyve gathered because they dont attack eachother, just mass then go for me. you need to balance that a little more, otherwise i love the strategy and i feel like my brain is actually stimulated (somewhat) by this game. cheers!

one of the best time consuming games ive ever played and the music really makes the screams of death seem happy

Definitely a great game, without question.

Really carries the theme of WW I (lines of battle, instead of precision strikes) although some tactical movement by sea can change the tide of battle. Clever diplomacy plays well also, and also the starting position of you and your enemies.

Music is good, and the small things added (quotes, newspaper feeds) is really great.

Honestly, I LOVED the game, it was simple and really fun, but I never understood the rules behind the morale's affect on battles, sometimes it seems useless.
