Hey Newgrounds! This is my first flash game and first submission here - it's been on Kongregate for the last week.

Don't Look Back is a game about fantasy. Just to warn you, it can be quite tricky in places... I hope you enjoy it!

Two words:

Bull shit.

I liked this game's design and overall atmosphere.

That's it.

I don't care what others say: Fuck this minimalitic diatribe. This game was way too damn hard to get any real enjoyment out of. The lack of lives/health makes it hard to resist throwing my fucking computer out the window. The constant red theme is also a headache-inducer.

Theres a fine line between challenging and frustrating. You might want to take a step back in the future.

Don't Look Back

I found this game rather intresting. the use of the classic old graphics was used well. it's difficult and fun at the same time which is good. but so far the most annoying part in the game is the boss battle. the ist one anyways. he jumps and hits a wall even if you get damage on him and he hits you he starts off with a full bar. All in all Don't look back is a pretty hard game. also Congrates for it being your first flash game and first submission and it being so succesful. 6/10 3/5.

la la la

the bad:
only, like, 3 colours in the game...wears on the eyes after a bit, but i'm going ti assume you are going for a "retro" feel
HARD. And not fun Hard. More like...boring hard. you need to work more on a storyline to make the player care about beating the bosses...for me, after killing one, I was just like, gee, all I did was figure out a pattern and made use of it...for what?
the good:
the killing her if you looked back was a nice twist, as games usually say, "you beat the dragon, now you get magically teleported out of the colapsing cave, but in this one you had to go to hell AND BACK. with the twist.
even though it wasa a short game, you had like 4 or 5 different normal enemies, and the hardest part of making pixel art is making different sprites. most ppl fall into the trap of taking one type of enemy, changing it's colour, and making it a tiny bit stronger/faster.
