Hey Newgrounds! This is my first flash game and first submission here - it's been on Kongregate for the last week.
Don't Look Back is a game about fantasy. Just to warn you, it can be quite tricky in places... I hope you enjoy it!

"Perfect"
This game has an excellent story to it. The difficulty just adds to the fun in my opinion.

some parts later on are too hard to get by without dying a bunch of times

Wow the ending man, I was thinking about it for minutes. and the game indeed gave me goosebumps. but it was ultra hard to finish it. I am proud i was able to finish it (i was dying like 300 times :P)

but why did they both vanish when they looked at him at the end?

This game gives me the goosebumps - the simple pixellated graphics, the music especially... and me doing my best to not press the right arrow key during the second half...
This game wouldn't be any better if it were in full high end 3D graphics. The simplicity of the whole thing outranks everything else.
