You've avoided the war and you wake up safe in Bulwark 53, but before you know it a whole new chaos awaits you! Try to escape and make it alive. Action, suspense and puzzle all in one.

Game controls: "W, A, S, D" to move around, "SPACEBAR" to reload your gun, "M" to use your medic pack, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" to change between your weapons, and right click to shoot.

***** EDIT: For those who have problems with the speed please type anywhere in the game IOP. That should do the trick. ******

"Major Issues, Amusing Ideas"

date: March 19, 2009

So, I'll give this game at least a 4, because it did have a good idea. I also applaud the creator for putting a bit of work into throwing some voice acting at the game.

That's where my complements end, though. While the opening voice acting is amusing, the constant one liners are pointless and irritating. Zombie movies have one liners that change slightly and are amusing throughout the movie. This game contains all of two one liners consisting of an "Is that all you can offer me?" and an evil laugh. Bleck!

The game also has a major memory leak issue. I've noticed that the memory seems to jump the more maps I've visited, which makes me wonder if the maps are unloaded or just stored in memory in the background. Also moving in and out of the same two maps will eventually cause the memory to jump quite a bit too. The game will eventually become completely unplayable with the memory leak causing it to slow down to the point you can barely move, if at all.

The game will also sometimes glitch on reloading the last clip of ammo if you reload too often. (i.e. Reloading every other kill may cause the last clip to become unusable) I've seen this happen with the Desert Eagle and the Uzi so far. The Uzi will also sometimes glitch when you get to 0 rounds and not allow you to gain any further bullets for it when you pick up an ammo pack.

Finally, there's a game stopping glitch at the end of South HQ. In my testing of the game, it seems the glitch will occur ONLY if you have the minigun when you try to leave South HQ. If you try to leave South HQ with the minigun and no key, it will zone you back into South HQ immediately. If you leave South HQ with the minigun and the key, you will get stuck and cannot aim or walk. Reloading, changing weapons, and shooting works fine.

The first gun i ever picked up happend to be the minigun. Wich was.. Boring. infinite ammo, no effects at all, and annoying sound. Also, it felt like a ghost town, but without the ghosts like.

it could have been a nice game, but you should have giving it a bit more tuning.

Good job on sound and feel though :)

I have to agree with sirfalas, the minigun in the Armory right away killed it. Very nice game, you'd have gotten a ten, except:
- Minigun (maybe place later in game, or limit ammo, drop your walk speed while carrying it, spin-up delay after clicking before it starts firing, use beretta-damage bullets instead of deagle-damage bullets, etc.)
- A glitch on my way out after clearing South HQ trapped me in one spot and wouldn't let me turn or move, despite my feet moving. Tried reload, switch weapons, firing (all of which worked normally), right-click stuff, etc, but couldn't free myself.
- Up until this glitch, I took exactly 0 damage and had 4 medkits. I like starting with one, and I thought they were okay for distribution except for the double in South HQ, but I was under no danger of taking damage at any point (except once when one of the fast 7-hp guys came out of a shadow and the time by Main Hall when I walked into a cluster). Dunno if enemies should move faster, be more common, have range on occasion, not be slowed down by bullets as much, more hp, or what, but being invincible and overpowering just made it a joke.

Great style and smooth coding except for that glitch, just retune a few things and it will be awesome!

For some reason, my guys couldn't move anymore after I exited the south hq. No response to keyboard input, mouse does not aim anymore, the only thing that works is clicking, which shoots. Not too great when you can only face one direction...

Cool zombie game, but too short, and the minigun has infinite ammo? come on, I stumbled upon it at the beginning and ripped through the enemies. So I was just breezing through the undead infested base as if it were a walk in the parc. Unbelievable.

You should check other zombie game on NG, a few nice ideas out there that might help you push the storyline and game depth further.

Still fun.
