Little Wing is a trippy stoner adventure set to the Jimi Hendrix song.
I worked on Little Wing for about 7 months, and it was definitely the largest project I've ever actually completed on my own. I'm really stoked that I finally finished animating the whole thing; I was very temped to fade out the song and just end it many times, but I managed to finishing animating the whole 2:30 song. Most of Little Wing was animated while high on Marijuana which was kind of the whole point of it; it's not really a music video for the actual song, but kind of my interpretation of it and what the song means to me. You might be able to notice a few of the metaphors or little chunks of it that actually make sense, but a lot of it is just stuff I thought would look cool with the song.

I still come back to watch this
This account has been so inactive on newgrounds for so long, but I had to sign in to leave this review. Like Littleluckylink below me I've watched this so many times over the past years and never left a review. Truly a very relaxing and welcome trip into another persons art and life. It really shows that you put yourself in this animation and I love that. I still find myself always searching this up just to watch it again. I hope you keep up with your work Snubby, It's great fun to watch.

I've always had a thing for this movie
I'm kinda surprised I'm just now making a review on it. I've liked this movie for a while now, I think I might have watched it when it was under judgment even. It's a very relaxing movie, I highly admire your creativity and your art. Your coloring, the smoothness, and all of those creative morphs just make me feel pretty good. Your metaphorical scenes also really interest me. This is something I could just watch over and over again. Fantastic job.

creative animation
while i agree with rex that the audio was alittle crappy (prolly did his best!) , i wouldnt go so far as to say the trippiness was out of context. i mean c'mon, when jimi commercially published this indeed trippy sounding song he obviously ment to make it at first seem like hes talkin about drugs like he always does. in my opinion the song certainly isn't ''grannys sacred song'' that you shouldnt adapt.
I improved the audio quality now.

Not much besides the animation.
It's a given that you're a very talented animator, but the musician in me can't help but feel disappointed in this.
For one the audio quality was absolutely abysmal. In my honest opinion, if you're going to use a video with music, the music should be top notch, not sound like something you recorded with a microphone off Youtube.
The other issue I had was with the general contents of the animation. I can understand the psychedelic properties of this song, but Jimi actually originally wrote it as a tribute to his grandma. So seeing it turned into a trippy animation is a bit of a disappointment.
Now for the good news. The animation is top notch. You're a very talented animator, and that's a given. I look forward to seeing some future endeavors on your part.
