For those of you who have never been, this is EXACTLY what going to therapy is like... every time.

UPDATE 3: Front page! Special thanks to the crew and everyone at NG.

UPDATE 2: Daily 3rd! Awesomeness. Thanks to everyone on NG.

UPDATE 1: The easteregg has been fixed... in the sense that I moved it to the credits page, so now you can find it there if you are looking.

Hey everyone, hope you enjoy our latest Sketched submission, a lot of hard work went into this one so let us know what you think.

p.s. Easter egg?! Yep! It's nothing really mind blowing, moreso a reason for me to practice some more of my action scripting, but its there none the less.

Till next time, Enjoy.

Blind Therapist Indeed. I don't really know what to say after watching that then reading your beefy response to The-Angry-Haruist. it was funny when they trapped him in the room and would'nt let him out. Hello? Gameshows over.... let me out...

sirjeffofshort responds:

The Angry Haruist and I have already talked it out and it's all good now. Thanks for your review.

I'm am just 17 years old...

And my point is that I could have taken a pyschology course at college, but did not. Yet I honestly feel I don't need to know that much about pyschology to have a fair idea of how the human mind works, and human studies keep me up to date with the human pysche.

I think the storyline of this flash was engineered towards the average Newgrounds viewer, for the gay joke is quite obvious and I believe mass consortiums of people to tend to prefer things of a more literal nature.

I personally enjoyed this, for it is a good friday morning viewing (UK) and for me depicts the over-bloated confidence therapists (mental therapists) get from having learned the human mind out of a textbook. Of course, I have nothing against pyschologists, but I have enough experience with them to know that a lot of their investigation techniques are presumptions, presumptions which where someone else's presumptions - noted down in a textbook some time ago.

I actually think you get the scenario spot on, for even the receptionists tend to have a flutter of knowledge aout such things at the very least, and she of course was assured of his gayness herself.

You also completely get the reality of the professional world. That is to say once you leave education (in the western world), you will find that it is possible to be quite loose and unprofessional in your job. If you work dilligently in your early years then years of freedom and ease will be found in later life.

For a flash that is moderately amusing, of so-so animation, immpressively satirical and makes a point, I give you an 8/10 4/5.

It seems to me that many of the people belittling your animation seem to be watching it with the intention of not wanting to laugh straight from the start due to it covering the topic of Therapy. I thought it was clever, with great voice acting and animation. The timing and script are what really made me laugh. Good job, can't wait for the next one.

sirjeffofshort responds:

You can never really avoid the inevitability that someone eventually will not enjoy your work, for whatever their reasons may be. My constant hope is usually that they will honestly appraise their feelings and try to convey them in a helpful way. Barring that I try to remain level headed and take what I can out of their reviews. That way many people have actually come back and enjoyed future animations more.

Thanks for your review, I'm really happy that you enjoyed the short.

I am actually more or less a phycologists and I just wanted to clarify that a "therapist" can either an actual professional(very, very, very rare) or a hippie who will force his ideas into your head and rape your ears with stupidity, but a phycologist is a guy who will listen to your crappy/sob story of a life and suggest things to you as to better your life. Also a phyciatrists is a guy who just crams you full of pills. By the way this was pretty funny in a MAD tv kinda way.

sirjeffofshort responds:

Dude was a total hippie. Haha, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't trying to make any profound statement about the practice in general as I studied some psychology in college and I know it has its merits.

Rest assured that unlike MADtv, we will not be bringing characters back constantly to try and harp on old and repetitive jokes, so be sure to check back if you get a chance.
