A movie I made for a class at school, but nothing too serious. Done in about 4 hours total.

Just a little more effort and...

I'll give you a 8. Basicaly, your stuff here is all good. I think we really need more people to flash the lights and put sparkles in people's eyes. The only thing I would have liked to hear here is an equivalent to capitalism as you compare socialism to faschism and communism. I beleive many democratic countries (not to point at the States again...) are truly faschists too. Look at their foreign policies, the way they finance injustice and murder ideals before they're born, the way they secluded themselves in capitalistic ideas and think they're the one who are right, who are superior to others... I've been in Vietnam, Ex-USSR and Cuba and I beleive they have nothing to envy in us. I'm personnaly ashamed to be part of a society that pretends to be ideal and that has to push others down to make itself higher. Nothing to desire, really.

Anyways, good work dude, every drop is needed to make the ocean! ;)

Some of the portraits are rather decent.

I'm glad that Nepal's a republic. Now if only my country (Canada) becomes one too, severing all ties to the monarchy of GB or abolishing the Canadian crown. You heard it, folks. It's fucked up and it needs to be changed. Now.

I believe in a democratic socialist society. Let's get something clear: socialism isn't communism. There's two sides to the same coin. I despise communism entirely, and embrace most of socialism's ideas. Countries that call themselves socialist are really communist. Power to all the people and the workers!

The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people's money. Canada is the greatest nation in the world.

As a student of political science...

...I would say that you made a fairly decent job in pointing out the inconsistency between formal and actually functioning of a poltical system. A good example of such would be the constitution of the USSR (which was really one of the 'nicest sounding' constitutions written) and the actual functioning of the political system.

A mistake I noticed (or a possible one depending on the use of words) is when you pointed out US to be a republic. Again it depends on how you use the word, but republic states are usually put into contrast with federations and the US in this view appears as a model federation.

On the technical issues... the movie was good, the animation and drawing could have been better but I'm not insulted by the quality either. The voice was especially well made, as you had the correct tone for the purpose of the movie as well as it didn't sound out of place.

Well that was worthless. Voting in a socialist country? Funny.
