The idea for this movie came form a random doodle I did of a little turtle standing by a rock, and a single heart above his head. The image was very cute and touching, but also very sad... How could a rock love him back? I had the idea, but didn't have the urge to animate it... until I heard this song. A friend had sent it to me and after a few listens I said to myself "This is the song I'm gonna use for the turtle movie!" The original idea was more of a comedy, but the song mellowed it way out.
The turtle, Beep, is named after the song. Now THAT'S adorable.
I was a little limited by the length, so I didn't get all my ideas in. But I hope you guys like it for what it is!

It was alright
I think this may be one for the kiddies.
Don't get me wrong I used to absolutely love your animations back in 2003. But they havent really came along, for example- you tend to use absolutely no frame-by frame, and thats all the go nowadays, plus it looks much better (less side-on views). Im just saying that you need to broaden your technique.
Otherwise this had a nice illustrative style to it and some direction was quite good.

Nothing Unique.
Your Tweened everything limits you so much.
YOu can't even to a little FBF?
This was just boring to watch and didn't bring anything unique to the table.

I like it!
Thank you Joseph for sharing your idea! Its is very nice. I love when it was raining and how you looked down on the puddle. I like that effect you did there and would like to learn how to do it. Very well put together. Thank you again Joseph! I cant wait for more!
