Lab Complex is the second original online game by CafeCafeGames and JuegosDeEscape.net. You're trapped in a laboratory complex and you have to escape by solving puzzles and finding items. Be warned this escape game is probably a little difficult for newbie escapers.

Point and click with your mouse. Drag objects from your inventory to desired location.

Answers can be written both in english or spanish.
Warning: Names start with capital letters.

Edit: Due to several complains I'll translate every relevant spanish word for you. Remaining text in spanish is completely accesory and not needed to solve it.

Química: Chemistry
Tabla Periódica de los Elementos: Periodic Table of the Elements
Botánica: botany
Padre de la botánica: Teophrastus or Teofrasto
Astronomía: astronomy
Sol: Sun

Wow, just bad all around. I forced myself to play this. As far as I could get and I ended up with 3 wheels, 2 clown noses(red&green), a micro chip, space pistol and a key that MUST be used every freaking time I go through the same door. I used each item on just about everything but they all seem useless at this point. I couldn't open the door marked So'tano or Galactus no matter what I did. You really need to Translate the whole game, not just a few that you think are relevant. Also why cant we zoom in on the Periodic Table of the Elements! I had to go look it up online. So it looks like I got about Half way, so you get half a star. And that's being pretty generous. But I'm gonna try for a few more minutes.

Umm.. Yeah.. Well..

I guess the answers may be typed in english or spanish, but I have no clue what the question is.. The first lab translates to "Helium lab. of chemistry." Which leaves no clue as to what to do in the lab. So you take the metal bar (yellow bar behind the one bench)and put it into the box that doesn't look like a machine and it makes you a key.. Which has nothing to do with chemistry but okay, that lets you into the next set of labs. Basically what I can't seem to find is anything that clues as to what you should put into the text imputs. I tried everything that I could think of. In the botany lab I tried everyone who is known as the "father of botany" no-one worked. The other picture had cacti, I tried words related to that. I don't think it is the language so much as the game itself seems to make even less sense than most of these escape games.

Some suggestions for the author.
1) If you are going to allow imput in english and the intro to the game (here) is in english, you should at least have bilingual text in the game, if not just an option to choose a spanish or english game. That would be helpful.
2) The text for your clickables and rollovers don't all work, you may want to look into that, do some more bugchecking.
3) Many of your clickables don't work very well, I had to tab through to pick up the chain for the light in the first room. As well I was able to select the item inside of the cabinet in the botany room, though I have no idea what to do with it, or really what it is. Again I think more bugchecking is in order.
4) You don't do too bad with your graphics, but your environment doesn't feel very interactive, I would suggest thinking about adding higher levels of interactivity to your levels. Allow the charecter to turn about more. Despite the prevailing action in this type of game the puzzles that lead to your escape should have intuative answers with puzzles in between.

I gave you a really low star rating and a really low overall vote because I think this game really needs alot of work. Escape games have been done to death, and I don't want you to feel discouraged, but I think you should take what you have and improve upon it. You are starting from a good idea, some bugchecking, language considerations, and improvement of feel and I'm sure you will have a good game.

Thank you very much for your advices. I'll take them in consideration in the future.
That was a pretty long review with crystal clear points and a lot of positive feedback.

side note: HeLiO (Helium) is in fact a clue with the periodic table. Ence the capital letters ;)

I got to the lab...

But everything's in Spanish, so I don't know what to do.

The people below me are rude. But they have a valid point. We can't understand what the game says. The addition of Engllish would help greatly. :)

CafeCafeGames responds:

In this game you have to find items and solve some puzzles to receive more clues for the next step.
I'll update the description with all translations needed to solve the game.
Thanks for your review.

I cant read anything

This is a primarily english speaking site, you need to have it in english. Maybe a choice in the beginning of English and spanish if you still want it in spanish

CafeCafeGames responds:

I understand your point but the true is you need zero knowledge of spanish to play with this kind of games.
People play this kind of games in lots of different languages.

CafeCafeGames responds:

I agree with the graphics when you compare this to... let's say... Action games.
Loading screen need a lot of improvement, yeap. But is just an accesory.
About being american: I'm american too. So?
Maybe you should try to actually PLAY the game.
