hello NG
this game was supposed to be a simple shooter game, which (for good or bad) ended up as a semi RPG shooter game.

WASD or arrow keys to move
keys 1 to 4 to change weapon
P to pause
R reload gun
mouse click to shoot

TIP: when starting a new game. visit the base first. you can buy better guns and upgrades from the merchants there. personally i think the lasgun is the most worth-it gun you can buy at the early stages.

SPOILER: you can buy really cool guns from the NPCs in the powerplants or crashsites after you've cleared them. start out by buying a reload upgrade and a bandolier upgrade, then buy the gatlaser and stock up on ammos. once you clear any of the sites above and buy the really bad-ass weapons, the game gets really easy.

FIXED: ammo/buy bug where you lose everything you bought. sorry bout that

Too Hard!

This is my first time playing so I'd probably be a noob right now.

Note to all that don't carry a minigun: do not go to the far middle right crash, you will get killed!

SO GOOD!!!!

I loved this game, the graphics and style were great, especially the death animations. Took me a while to get started though, i found it difficult to build up money to begin with. Also, it was kind of annoying how you had to go back to your base to buy more ammo, even when I had upgraded my ammo capacity to full I seemed to run out too often.

Also, I love the railgun. There's just something so awesome about blasting an alien in the face through his buddy, and the death animations made it all the more awesome

walkthru

Here's a get-started walkthru for people who are having trouble beating even the first fight. Get yourself a minigun and the first speed upgrade. Fight some random battles. Get the second speed upgrade. Go fight the 30 alien battle in the lower right. Sell the minigun, get the ultra ray gun or whatever the 1200 weapon that the alien dealer is selling is. Fight around some more to get your bandolier up to level 3. Improve your accuracy to level 1 at least. Max out on ammo, go fight one of the 35 alien battles. Go improve your accuracy some more, max out on ammo, and fight the third 35 alien battle. Voila, you're started.
For the developer, this game is pretty damn fun and very visually appealing, almost like alien hominid in miniature, graphics-wise.
But that jump from 35 to 70 friekin aliens is insane man. You gotta tone that down. Or better yet, make it so we can replay levels already beaten, maybe for a reduced cash reward, and let the new merchants spawn in the home base. Because fighting random battles for 35 creds when your next upgrade is 800 creds away......fuckin sucks.

Wow! awesome!

Really an amazing game. I love the music and the idea. Graphics are awesome as well as weapons and upgrades, not to mention the idea i can hire people. Also the game was REALLY realistic. I love the fact that I have to shoot through foliage before i can get the enemy. There was also a wide variety of enemies! All in all, 10/10 5/5

I hope there will be a sequel.

P.s. TurretTyranny, in order to get guns and upgrades you need to enter your sarting point. There you'll find dealers.

Nice but a little glitchy

There's a bug where I purchase clips yet they don't show up. It also happened once with a weapon purchase. Clear these up and you'll have created a much better gaming experience.
