This is a Flash remake of a text based game originated at the early 80's. the idea was to make a remake of the game that ran on DOS. everything is the same as it was in the original version, including the colors.

The Game is simple and aimed for beginners who wants to try text based game (also known as Interactive Fiction nowdays).

you have to use one of the following verbs in the game
go <direction> or just N for north.
look
get <something>
x <something> to examine object.

if you never played on XT with CGA screen games you will probably better to look for other flash online game.

Liked it.

Played a few of these games before and greatly enjoyed them. Only suggestion is that you might want to make command words a little easier to figure out from item descriptions. Just in general, you could make this more user friendly by adding more variations on the keywords or maybe a help command which brings up item use commands.

Keep up the good work.

interesting

I really did like this, no kidding. I wish though there was either better detail or more options as to where to go.

Lol, it feels rewarding to find the orb! I think you keep at this and try with more places and BETTER INSTRUCTIONS. the instructions were kinda of frustrating, try adding more words like get = take = grab... etc.

Ooh, neat!

I did the MUDs and IF since 1996, so I was a tad gleeful to see this here,.. in hopes that it passes.
Only thing I could nitpick on is having l for look, 14 years of habit not easily changed.
Just great all around, I really can't think of negatives to say.
