Quick and simple, but it takes a bit of time to master.
Things you could've done:
~~Ctrl isn't a good button for 2 reasons: it's too close to the arrows and it's a small button, compared to the Space bar for example.
~~You could've added a simple rewards system (other than the +1s bonus)
~~Since you tend to fail a lot, the "continue" process should take input from the keyboard. For example, "Press Space to continue the tournament."

Otherwise, pretty smooth.

It's okay...

I suggest making the game bigger in size for people who have vision problems to see it easier.

Addictive...

I really liked this little game, very addictive. If it were me though, I'd replace the 'X' with a circle (or a target; the middle or bulls-eye is a perfect shot, etc); perhaps a circle that retracts as the shot time runs down. I'd also put a little shot counter right next to the circle so the player knows how long he/she has to make the shot. Perhaps a little more variation in the actual game-play wouldn't be amiss. Apart from that, pretty fun and nicely done.
