I've worked hard on the level design and on the engine on this game. I really hope you enjoy the levels and appreciate the effort I've put into this.

25 Unique bike twisting levels, go upside down, collect the photos and reach the exit.

This is probably the first thing I'm really proud of since the NG London meet in back in '07 and it's been really fun meeting all the people of Newgrounds and I hope with this game I'm giving a little more back to the community.

Edit: The help link for the level editor isn't up yet but will be up later today. Thanks for you patience.

One of the best bike games I've played

I'm not always a fan of these type of games, but I found this to be a great take on the concept. The photography feature was something I haven't seen before in a Flash game, gave it a kind of Tony Hawks feel, very cool.

Physics were pretty much dead one and made the gameplay feel smooth and intuitive. Felt great doing triple flips and such, too bad there was no point bonus for this, maybe something to expand on next time.

Graphics were great in parts, the menus all looked highly polished and the background was pretty nice. The levels themselves were a bit samey looking, could have used some environmental features like plants. Bike was alright, would look amazing if it was 3D though.

Music was fitting, liked the music player, felt like something right out of a console game. Few more SFX here and there wouldn't have gone amiss, like when you thud on the floor or walls. The recorded voiced were a nice touch.

I think you've done a great job of taking a somewhat overdone concept and making it feel fresh and new, whilst still quite a lot of room for improvements in a sequel. Great work!

not bad in its genre

The controls were good, which is very important for a game like this. The graphics were decent.

What the game is missing is tricks. I could do like five flips in the air and make a controlled landing but why would I bother when the game doesn't reward me for it? It's pretty small stuff, but things like that add greatly to the gameplay.

On top of my previous suggestion, you could also incorporate the trick scoring in to your pictures. Like if I'm upside down in the picture, I get a bonus score or something. If I'm nosediving in the picture I get another score etc. etc. I hope you get the picture (no pun indented :)). Like this the whole picture taking thing would serve a purpose. Else you could just replace them with a star you need to collect since without anything added to it it's the same.

And I got a bug report as well, on "the strangler", the bitch didn't let me pass the level. I had all pictures collected and I was humping her leg and moving and stopping near her trying to find the right spot but she never let me pass the level. I tried it several times again until I just had to accept that it's bugged and quit. You might want to look into that.

Overall this is a good game in it's genre. It's not original, but still fun to play.

Features idea

Hey mate,

It's true that the game is much like the good old Elastomania, but it's nothing bad. Elasto was a good game and one could try making it better.

In the lasts weeks, there was a lot of similar games posted on NG (motorcycle elasto-like games) but yours is the best in my opinion. The bike control is better and you don't always crash for control reasons like in other games i've tried.

So, while playing your game, I was thinking that some cool features could be added to make it more interesting and more unique. Here is my ideas :

1) One thing I likes was the idea of taking pictures while jumping. But did you notice it was a bit boring to see the pics, because most of the time, the bike is in the begining of the stunt and it look really static, doing an easy jump. What I'd like and that would also make the game a bit harder, is that the player should have to trigger the picture himself. I always do backward flips and I'd like to check the pic when my bike is upside down, not just near the edge of the jump.

2) Another feature, also realated to jumps, could be to add some tricks that the biker could do while moving. Not necessarily some hard-to-do keys combinations, but let's say, one key that makes a random trick or 2-3 keys with different tricks (superman, legs in front, etc). Imagine what the pictures feature will become then? There could even be air and land tricks... etc! I think this would bring the entertainment higher. My opinion is that, when you think about motocross racing, you always think about the stunts and the tricks. None of the games I played (except shopping cart hero! LOL) had this in it.

Alright, keep up to good work dude! Cheers!
