I liked it.
I thought it was a good concept and not a difficult game. I find it hard to lose the game, which allows for experimentation, but if you had harder levels, that would be a plus.
Well some players are already complaining that it's too hard, so I can just imagine all the zero-rating reviews if the game was harder :P Thanks for playing.
Don't let the nay sayers get you down. This game is better than anything they could dream of making. It may have its issues, but unless some omnipotent being comes out with a game thats a given. My major beef is that ranged attacks are more or less worthless. Turrets don't seem to have one third the effect of simple attacker trees. Seems more logical to have attackers come before support units like the meat shields. When you only have pumpkins it doesn't let you see their actual use and makes them seem more or less worthless. Unfortunatly out of all the tree combos I tried a simple attacker/defender combo with one or two mana bushes was by far the most efficient. Seems like the trees at your end game should be buffed or the early pieces need to be nurf'd, depending on the difficulty balance you want in the game. The game seems like it would be better with a difficulty option for all the whiners out there. Oh and it would be pretty sweet to be able to play either side of the war. You could still keep your the "go green" style in this game by giving the ending animation for the machine side strong apocalyptic overtones. Or you could give the machines the respect they deserve. Fuck trees.

For many of the same reasons... also, the pumpkin tree you have to make right off the bat? Yeah, thats pretty much a waste of time to even build. It does not do enough damage per pumpkin and each pumpkin is to slow. Good luck with your future submissions... I believe your going to need it.
It doesn't add up
I think the game has incredible potential, but there are some problems. For one you need to build defensive buildings before you can unlock offensive buildings which puts you on the defense from the start. The defensive units exist only to eat up mana and when I played a game where I built one defensive building just to unlock offense then shut down the defensive building so it didn't eat precious resources I did markedly better than before. Honestly the computer has far to many advantages in this game. An entire area of the map is there for the computer to launch its constant turrets. When I saw that I could have turrets of my own I thought I may have had a chance, but the turrets were useless. I know I have prattled on quite a bit, but the main problem is this. If an enemy conquers half the territory before you can build your first offensive building you are going to lose almost every time.
