Hey,

Made with Flash Pro 8 at 30 FPS

Enjoy

UPDATE: 9/21/2010 12:43 A.M.

The format has changed from Bitmap streaming to FLV's, thus the framerate has changed from 15 to 30 & the file size has dropped from 2.7 MB's to 572.5 KB's.

Also, the vectors from the original cut have now been digitized into pixels.

UPDATE: 9/24/2010 2:36 P.M.

I've added adverts to the end of the movie to help circulate viewership among the CFC. Thust resulting in the file size increasing to 1.5 MB's, which is still better than it's original file size.

UPDATE: 2/25/2015 5:33:35 P.M. [CLOSING]

A remastered version of this parody is underway. When it happens, I won't be using the FLV1 format anymore; since this parody is so short and the file size limits have increased for Flash movies, I can afford to use image sequencing to deliver truly lossless quality.

When I first uploaded this, I forgot to mention the sources for my footage. The first being Godzilla VS. King Ghidorah [1991] at the 1:29:27.520 mark [25.00 FPS] and the nuclear explosion footage comes from Operation Cue, a short film documenting the detonation of Apple 2, a 29 kiloton atomic bomb [detonated at 5/5/1955 12:00:10.0 P.M.] which was the thirteenth among fourteen different nuclear test devices detonated in Operation Teapot, at Area 1 of the Nevada National Security Site A.K.A. "Survival Town" in southeastern Nye County, Nevada.

UPDATE: 3/1/2015 10:41:10 A.M. [OPENING]

I recently found some remastered footage of the Apple 2 from a movie called Trinity and Beyond: The Nuclear Bomb Movie, an independent film made in 1995 with William Shatner as the narrator [God, no]. I contacted the people behind the restored footage to negotiate a license since their copy is not only remastered but also in 1080p whereas every other source of Operation Cue is very low res and damaged. They've yet to give me a price for specifics but if it turns out to be more expensive than the movie they made it for [$30.00] I'll have to take a more 'fair use' route. I already tried out a watermarked copy of their footage in FLV1 format and it looks significantly better than the current footage of the Apple 2 that I have. We'll see what happens there.

I've also found a 1080p copy of Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah [1991] for $18.00 on Youtube. I was considering just buying a DVD of the movie but I recently ran into information that proves that it's a really terrible idea, mostly because the DVDs come from many different sources and are largely more miss than hit but one thing is for certain; none of them will be lossless so the Youtube option is really the best one of the three I'm currently weighing.

SINcerely yours,

LOL

I cant honestly believe that 2007~2009 era is like 6~8 years ago now

Psychopath responds:

It really does feel like I just blinked now that you've mentioned it. All that wasted time. Goddamn it.

This type of thing is an art really. I love the use of the nuke footage at the and it really added the perfect touch to this. So simple and yet it conveys so much so fast I love it.

Psychopath responds:

I'm glad that I could make you laugh on such a shitty day. Today is a sad day indeed.
