Daily 3rd Place! Wow! Thanks everyone for the votes and views and reviews! And the TROPHY! Whoo! *dances slightly*

We started this series back in late November and have concentrated almost all of our time into designing the world, characters, voice talents, picking the right music, adjusting volume levels, animation quality, and story development. So we hope this flash is as special to you, the viewers, as it is to us.

Mark of the Beast Snacks

Episode 1 : Dreams of Beyond

Two young boys have always wanted to leave the confines of their village, however it is surrounded by a magic barrier that they cannot pass... However, with the sighting of a strange talking beast and the calamity in the skies, they might just get their chance at adventure...

We would like to thank all the test viewers and people that helped us along the way in getting this series up off the ground and making it a reality. We'd like to thank our girlfriends for sleeping all alone because we were up tirelessly working and pushing toward perfection and utilizing our skills to their full potential. There is always room to grow, but I am unashamed to say that this is our first flash that I feel we poured everything we have into.

About the upcoming Episode 2 : We already have the full script and story line and even the basic outline for Episode 3 and are currently working on the animation and voice acting process for Episode 2. We'll have it launched as soon as we feel it has gone beyond what we have accomplished here for Episode 1.. As they say, practice makes perfect.

Enjoy the flash and let us know what you think.

We hope you enjoy,

Epic!

I quite enjoyed this one.
The only two things that bothered me was the lack of frames in some scenes and the sound quality a bit.
In the next one you should include an menu wich will include an scene selector of some sort.
Can't wait until the next episode :)
p.s.: Front page material from my point of view:)

LOL

I like the animation. I can't imagine how much work this had to be.

PRETTY GOOD

its good for the most part, but the friendship and "fighting tooth and nail to protect my family" parts made me want to tear my eyes and ears out...

tacobuttfish responds:

Glad you liked it for the most part! Pokes is an honest and protecting guy, his village was being destroyed and he obviously was looking for adventure. Very classic for a character of his standing to make a declaration before a battle type scene. Do you watch Anime?

Sweets mother of patato!

Nice work dawgs! That was one funky flash yoall, part when ryu poped out of that giant moose's butt and attacked with a sudoku was hilarious!! For part 2, include more stuff like that.

tacobuttfish responds:

Thanks and episode 2 has plenty more zaniness and a lot more action, animation, and better quality sound, so we'll see you then!

YES! You are the first to notice! We obviously didn't straight up rip that popular anime series off, but definitely we drew in some inspiration from it! Good eye!
