Edit: Wow, thanks for the front page everyone :)
The first of a 10 part series set to the music of RushJet1's E.P "Out There" which when completed will hopefully be a complete short film. Made entirely without the pixel tool, this is my first ever attempt at pixel animation. I never realised just how much of a time consuming process pixel animation was until i undertook this project. Tells the tale of Astro, a young squid summoned to war after a fellow squids ship crashes into a city, id leave a real commentary but id like the film to tell the story itself. More to come.

"Loved it"
I loved the pixelized old NES style you gave it,
"Fantastic Spritejob"
The animation was so loveable. Loved the shading. Nothing of an interesting storyline. Great music decision.
"Originality!"
Gotta love it for doing something new and not another RAAANDOOM parody flash. But in all seriousness, I loved the music and the original pixelated characters had great expressions
"Simply Perfect"
8-Bit Music and art FTW! The music was catchy and the art gave off a 3D impression with the shading. Great work! But I couldn't figure out the plot :3
"Really cool."
First time I have ever seen flash animation used in that way. everyone says how bad it is to use sprites in your animation(game sprites already made e.g. Mario Sonic etc etc) but this is very original. atleast to me it is I havn't seen anyone really do something like this. Is there more depth to the style and time period for all of this or were you just making something kinda odd?
I really don't understand how someone could give this a score lower than a 4, it's original and has a unique style....I guess we need more DBZ Game parody or penis jokes to get a good score.
