You can't remember the last time you left your room. When you receive a barcode reader in the mail, you discover that the world around you is not what it seems, and must escape the bars of black and white.

"Bars of Black and White" is a game in the room-escape tradition with hand-drawn line art graphics and novel barcode-scanning action. Is the world insane, or is it you?

The room is like the Matrix: "It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth." You even begin to ask "What is real?" To me, that makes it stand out from other escape-type games. Very short, but one of my favorites.

This is just a great game that really makes you question everything around you despite the simple design of everything. Its very interesting to say the least, I love the overall idea of it and the fact that I could fill in my own blanks of everything happening around me. The bar code system was nice even the little sound effects and finding the multiple bar codes was fun to. The things I loved the most about this game though was the overall simplicity, the unique idea and structure of insanity, and it really strikes me on a personal level so bonus points there.
I mean who can really question if one is sane or not? It just really got me to thinking and I think any game that can leave a lasting impression on me is definitely worth a few words and praise. I love your ideas, I love your game mechanics and designs, these are fun point and click adventures. I just thought I'd owe it to you to give you some kind words from a fan. Nice work man. Always a pleasure to play your games.
