You can't remember the last time you left your room. When you receive a barcode reader in the mail, you discover that the world around you is not what it seems, and must escape the bars of black and white.

"Bars of Black and White" is a game in the room-escape tradition with hand-drawn line art graphics and novel barcode-scanning action. Is the world insane, or is it you?

Gregory Wier's games are fun and challenging. This is a great puzzle game and once i figured it out, a great timewaster for me :3

how do you find the barcode scanner?

Very interesting, I've never seen a game much like this one before. The concept of scanning for secret codes is both entertaining and original, and the hidden idea/meaning behind everything was very interesting as well. I only wish that maybe there could have been just a bit more, as it seemed somewhat short.

It was an interesting little game. Not too hard to learn how to get out, but it was an interesting story. It felt a bit unsettling to play, but I think that was the point. Nice game, good job :)
