You can't remember the last time you left your room. When you receive a barcode reader in the mail, you discover that the world around you is not what it seems, and must escape the bars of black and white.

"Bars of Black and White" is a game in the room-escape tradition with hand-drawn line art graphics and novel barcode-scanning action. Is the world insane, or is it you?

Maybe I should have read the info but I finished this game pretty quickly without the noticing the scanner nor scanning a single barcode, maybe you should have made the scanner a necessity, rather than a quirky optional to keep people playing longer.

This game was VERY difficult to navigate through. It is not clear were you will go next when you click to the side/up/down. I got lost in the living room and couldn't get back to the front door for awhile. Other than that it was decent but a little too easy.

This is one great work of art, many artists tried to develop games like this, only a little could do something as good as this. The graphical art is simplistic but beautiful, the environment and the atmosphere are perfect for the situation. THIS. IS. GOOD.
