You can't remember the last time you left your room. When you receive a barcode reader in the mail, you discover that the world around you is not what it seems, and must escape the bars of black and white.

"Bars of Black and White" is a game in the room-escape tradition with hand-drawn line art graphics and novel barcode-scanning action. Is the world insane, or is it you?

Very interesting concept i love it

What an amazingly well thought out game, I wish the codes had been more cohesive, or maybe there was a more shocking ending, but its interesting to think that the character escaped his own mind, where he was surveying himself and testing himself, and entered his real life in the asylum.

A little short, and a little easy, but great art and a great gameplay mechanic (if you call it that) make this front page worthy. I'd love to see something longer in the future.

Nice game,

could use a little more horror though, but overall pretty good, maybe a little too complex without using a walkthrough

And to this guy \/ 'videonerd'
You should play 'Escape from Crystal Lake'
Definately the best in its style.
