I like it, but I think it could be better.
Try making some upgrades or more variety instead of the same old boring gameplay.

"has some serious potential"

game was good but has potential for possible improvement, here are some suggestions: allow yourself to pick back up traps (if you did that I would also suggest lowering the total amount of traps allowed), maybe include a wave/upgrade system so instead of just the slugs improving you could too (a money system based on (slugs killed + cabbages harvested - cabbages eaten [ - wasted traps?] = money), maybe?) or something like that would make the game play last longer and be more enjoyable. lastly a story line might possibly improve game play
