Okay, I will level with you here. I started flash for the very first time less then four days ago. I had no experience with programming, photo shop, illustrator, or any other adobe product. So, before you judge, remember that I just discovered flash four days ago and this movie took me about a day to complete.

This was, essentially, just a test in applied knowledge. My first flash ever, so if you have any technical criticism, then please don't be a dick. It would be greatly appreciated but....don't be a dick.

Dick.

Much love,
-Tony

I played it three times. 10/10 / 5/5 stars.

Wow, I didn't think this was that clever.

Thanks for the support chief, tell your significant other I said that you're a keeper!

this was amazing

Wow Tony, I wish that I could be such a strong, sexy, and brilliant animator like you one day. I could lavish you with much deserved compliments, but there isn't enough time (or allotted space) enough to do it justice.

You are the greatest man to have ever, or will ever, exist.

Bossmanreject responds:

you are a fucking liar

Decent Short Film. Strong Animation Skills

This was overall solid and fundamentally sound as a flash movie. Considering the fact that you had only been using flash for four days, I would say that this was a flying success!

Besides the fact that your animation was crisp and clean, you had a pleasant sense of humor that will serve you well as an animator.

My primary advice to you would be to plan our your movies before hand, focusing equally on plot and animation and you can be very successful here.

FYI - There was a red line on the right side of the screen in the "Earth scene" and credits.

Bossmanreject responds:

yeah...that red line.

Right after I posted the movie, I noticed it (the red line), but I didn't fix it since I decided to focus my efforts on a project that wasn't just one day of fucking around.

Boo-yah! for the compliments, they are greatly appreciated and will definately help push me to do better work.

I have something in the works now that should take me about two weeks (mainly the art and animation, it's not a game), which I'm stoked about.

Thanks again chief, and see ya around the portal.

Okay.

Not really worth watching as a quality movie, but not bad for a first try. Unfortunately I can't give you a 'first time' break when I rate your movie, so I had to give it a 1.

However it's always good to submit your first flashes, as it gives you motivation to try and do them well.

you should tell that to douche-bag snikett down there. I don't think he believes in creative development.

I don't blame you for not giving breaks to first timers. I know I don't when I vote.

Thanks for the review and complement...though the "1" makes me sad.
