I made this game a while ago when I was messing around with some as2.
It's a simple collect and avoid game.
And by the way, I created the song. It's not actually called 'Alpha Destroyer X' as mentioned in the credits but me and my friends thought it was kinda funny so I threw it in there.

not bad for a first update...
... However, the game has no pause function. My hands got tired around 1200 points, and I couldn't pause and massage my wrist!
You could easily make this a kick**s game, if you stopped every so and so points and level up, maybe upgrades to slow down the poop for a short period of time, or have a temporary shield or defense increase, temporary gun to eliminate poop in your path, a short period where smileys are closer together, increased speed, increased HP, etc.
Possibly pickups?-- Like small health replenish, speed burst, slightly repel poop for a short distance like anti-magnet, 4 second invulnerability, double smileys, bigger enemies, etc... (These would also add some challenge since the player must choose to go for the pickup, or the next smiley).
Traps: Whirlpools that temporarily restrain the player, black holes or portals that teleport players to another area of the screen, friction traps to slow player down, temp. speedy poop, double poop, etc...
Also, a combo point multiplier would be more satisfying to the determined players... points could be used to upgrade upgrades... maybe a usable points dispay and an overall points display, so score can still be submitted. It would take some real imagination, but each character could have a special power that could be executed every so and so point increase, and can also be upgraded...
I must go on...
With more power, there needs to be more weakness... different kinds of poop with different strengths and weaknesses, forcing the player to use some strategy in their actions, or different types of nasties altogether... Through the levels you could increase or decrease values as necessary to increase difficulty, or the ability to choose difficulty in main menu with various starting values or restrictions.
Umm... scrolling background? Changing backgrounds with level change?
This game could easily be more playable with a few tweaks and features and you don't even have to change the graphics... I like the minimalistic quality. I'm sure others do, too.
If these ideas aren't pertinent (with lack of a better word) to this specific game, I hope it helps you perfect your next one... I've played hundreds of flash games and though this is a commonly used genre, I see much potential...

i did like the music but i think the drawings could be better. i got bored with this game kinda quick too. my score was around 125. good luck in the future
nat bad for your first game it actually kept me busy for a while and it was pretty fun. for now try to work on improving your graphics and stuff
