*Please excuse the video and audio quality, I know it's not the best, but I managed to get this video from 1.25 GB down to 9.9 MB, I'm just lucky to be getting it on here*
Okay, it's been a while, and I have a lot to say about this one. Here is my first real claymation video. I know at first you may think it's just a regular drawn animation, but keep watching, it's mostly claymation. This video took me almost a year to make, mostly because I was lazy and school kinda held me back (It took even longer to get on NG because of all the experimenting I had to do to get the best quality for under 10 MB). All the animation was done by hand, all tricks and special effects were done without computer assistance. The only computer effect I used was again for the drawn segments I layered in the backgrounds. All backgrounds and drawn segments were hand drawn, pen and paper as always, and animated frame by frame. This was by far the hardest video I've made, and probably ever will make, not to mention the difficulty figuring out how to pull off some of the tricks in the claymation portions (which are probably obvious to someone who knows what they're doing, but I really don't know much about claymation other than the most basic stuff). About 7 or 8 models of the main character had to be sculpted for this video. I know I've said a lot about this short, but if you're still reading the description at this point, I want to apologize for taking so long to submit, but I've had a lot of computer issues in terms of converting the video, compressing it, and adding credits (yes, even the credits gave me trouble). Anyhoo, sorry for rambling on, I honestly never thought I'd finish this, and even though it may not look it (or maybe doesn't look like I did a good job) this was so hard to complete, I just want you all to understand some of what I went through to make this. Enjoy!
PS: I do have part 2 and 3 storyboarded; whether I do them or not depends on how
well this video does.
PSS: I've been working on my newest project for a few months now, and should have it out sometime within a month or so...there's a hint about what it is in this video, not necessarily a good one, but see if you can find it.
