Sorry I had to resubmit this for a couple reasons.

Hi,

These are a bunch of short flash's I made for fun. I'm trying to get better at flash and here is the result of lots of practice: lots of control z-ing and redrawing was involved. Anyways please rate and review. Hopefully I'll have time to make a full length flash sometime! :P

THANKS

Thanks. I will more flashes in the future with more detail, longer duration, higher frame rate, and smaller bush strokes. Thanks for your input.

"It's a start"

This piece is just some random brainstorming to see what you can produce in terms of animation. Some of the drawing is of good quality, but I would recommend that you spend more time working on the detail - try zooming in and using a slightly smaller tool to draw with, as you will reap the benefits straight away.

I think that the next step is to get a plot going, so pick some sort of song and start coming up with some ideas to make a music video for it. If you keep at it, you'll have a decent flash that you can take a lot further and will start to turn heads with. I appreciate that it's a learning curve, but you will get there.

Thanks a bunch! I think I have a good idea for a flash. I will also try smaller brush strokes and 24fps.

thanks

"Alright"

These are some ok little experiments. Here are some things you can improve on:

- Next time, as has already been said, add music and/or sounds.
- Improve on your drawing skills
- Some of the animation was a bit weird, for example the stick man at the beginning was walking in an odd fashion.
- Of course next time try to not just make an experimental flash but a story with a concept.

That's all from me good luck!

"Not too good, but not bad either"

I wouldn´t really call this a great animation or anything, but it´s not the worse thing I´ve seen and I think you are on your way on becoming a fine flash author.

The drawings in this movie were okay in my opinion. Some stuff looked pretty good actually, like the shotgun and the caution sign (although I am not sure whether that´s a drawing or a picture). You seem to be fairly good at animating too. You do still need some more practice though and I would mainly focus on drawing if I were you.

As for the sounds and music: There wasn´t much to hear in this which was too bad. I thought the tune in the beginning sounded nice actually. And I think you really should add more sounds, because I think the humor in this movie didn´t came over very well because of the absence of sounds. Having some tunes play at the background is always nice too.

Other than that I don´t have much to add, except that the scenes were just random and had no connection with eachother which was bit weird. But I see this was just a test movie, so it´s okay. It´s good that you submitted this actually, to see the reviews and such.

Overall 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5. I´d say just keep practicing a lot and you might produce some good movies someday. Keep it up.

Author's Response:

Thank you very very much! :) I've noticed that sound is very important in any movie, especially in horror films, the dramatic sounds and everything. A while ago I made a sad flash short. The music was very sad and fitted the flash perfectly. I got a fairly good score on that even though the animation was terrible. I really should have put more work into this, and added background music. Thanks for reviewing, and my next animation will be much better.

"not bad"

I can tell your either A) still working with flash and animation and coming along nicely or B) this was a quick couple of pretty funny ideas you had and just threw them together. Either way, not bad and enjoyable.

Author's Response:

Thanks. It was kinda a mix of A and B. This was mostly to practice animation technique, but at the same time I wanted to make it sorta entertaining, in a weird random way.
