A few days ago, i submitted "Eco-Bot Beta", and didn't get a very good response, so I tweaked it A LOT. Now i'm submitting the Final Beta, if this does well I plan on continuing on and finishing the game.

Game Plot:
Many years in the future, Earth has become Critically Polluted and the human's flee to the moon. Humans, having learnt nothing from what happened on Earth, continue to pump pollution into the moon. When "Eco-Bot", a robot made by a "moon friendly" organization, works out whats happening. He sets out to put a stop to it. Starting with the Big buys upstairs....

Here's just a few suggestions:

I don't like having to watch the logo movie every time I restart. Make restarting from death a quick back-to-level process.

The controls seem a bit laggy. Movement is slow and jumping is a clusterfuck.

Art: No complaints.

Sound: No real complaints, could use more robotic music and sound effects, would be more fitting (if you can't find any I'm sure I could find some for you.)

I think it's a fun game! Only one or two things I noticed that might need some final tweaking. I think your "try again" buttons are switched. I would assume that green means "yes" but when you hit it, it takes you all the way back to the loading screen. But when you hit red, which I would consider "no," it takes you to the play menu.

The other thing is, but i'm assuming it's because its an unfinished game, when you reach the lock thingy, it automatically starts allover. I think you got a great game going here, can't wait to see the finished product!

I think its a good game. And it has that console platformer mood that I like. It reminds me of Crash Bandicoot 3 on the futuristic levels if you played it :P You've done a pretty good job overall, I liked the game.
Some things to improve: The game's too difficult imo. It wouldn't if it had lives so if you add them it would be very cool. Check points would also be good and helping. You can get some proish touch on the banners and letters, they look a bit simple, no big deal, maybe just change that green background color. In my opinion, it would be cooler with a black background and green letters with a glow filter and maybe some black thin lines over the letters to add it a screen effect. Just a suggestion though. Also, when you click on play again don't return to the first screen, watching the logo animation everytime you play can be a bit annoying (cool intro btw). I liked the robot's face saying "yes" and "no" when the game is over.
I think you have some cool game here, just improve it a bit and it will be better. Of course, make more levels (there's just 1 at the moment right?). Keep up the good work!

Cool story good character design, and fun gameplay, I can't be sure until I see the final version, but I would guess it would be worth 8-10 stars.

it was laggy n the thing with the no grips seems like a crappy excuse. when you die it goes back to the start menu instead of the course so make a life system.dont make it side scroller make it intresting. like maybe if your gunna keep that gripless feet make a upgrade later in the game so he gets grip. also add a control switchin (arows and wasd).maybe weapon upgrade later on.if you just make it that you just keep scrollin right n collect a key its guna suck.thers more that camn be improved but i cant think of anything else right now.(the 1st beta mustve really sucked)

Make your options screen more responsive. And when the player dies and selects play again -- don't make the entire game reload and go through the splash screen and all that again -- I would have played a few more times than I did had it not been for that.

Enough bitching though -- your intro was nice. You've worked a lot of suggestions into this revision and the work shows. Nice improvements on clarity of the graphics, scale, instructions -- you even took one of my suggestions and improved the collision detection on those things that slide down from the walls and can crush the eco-bot.

All this is great -- this game is coming along real well. However, doesn't the newgrounds faq on subissions say something like -- don't have new versions of a game coming out every couple days? They oughta alter that if it does -- I like the process and like in this case, the feedback obviously helps big time.

Suggestions:

-don't make us watch "teh shame's intro" every time we restart
-walking along with moving platforms is irritating. Think you could find a tutorial on how to do that if you don't know how?

its understandable for a beta but there r still little problems like returning to main only having 1 level etc.
once its a full gam I'm sure It'll be good
