My first flash animation, obviously not the most complicated, and its really short, and unoriginal to boot, but, you have to start somewhere right? (Read everything please before watching)
Decided to start out with the best frame rate, 24 fps. Both characters you see are frame by frame drawn. Although i could have made the drum roll loop animation less jittery (got lazy there) Might stick with the paper cut out looking background, as i try to figure out a style in which i feel comfortable doing. Also need to learn some action script, and add the play, replay thing, as you see, it just automatically starts, and replays. All of my future animation will mostly be movie specific, so don't except any user interaction. Any tips and crits are welcome. My next animation will be more original, personal, and fleshed out. Good animation, but that's about it.
For a first flash, I must say that the animation is very good. It's smooth, the colours are nice, and the characters, although basic, are neat. However, there is nothing else to this. The sounds are pretty good, but it's very, very basic.
I'm not saying that you're terrible at all. I think you have a lot of potential. Just figure out a storyline, some more characters, and I can easily see one of your movies on the frontpage.

This is really good for a first flash.
It's good for a first Flash.
The presentation's nice and the sound effects are fun.
But your Flash is painfully short. Next time, don't mind how long it takes to make it and make something that takes longer. Even so, it's not a bad Flash. Keep practising now, and don't lose hope if people are negative about your Flash ( people are not overly positive about my work, either ).
