There is no audio, and the flash is pretty shotty, please rate and review because my class enjoyed it and I felt I did pretty good for about 6 hours of work. Still got a B- but whatever... Based off of "The Stranger" By Albert Camus.
it would have been better with some music
also the quotes were out of place, i think if you aligned them with his stoy it would be much better and make sense to thoes who unfortanely have never read it
either way i gave you a 5/9
I agree, music would've been good.
Obviously some class material in there hehe
Not too bad, sun in the background was kinda cool good use of transition there. Guessing some of the thought bubbles with page numbers are the class assignment so might throw some people off. Otherwise not too bad for 6 hours.
Thanks for the feedback, I know it doesn't really make sense out of context. :O
it's cool, not too great though.
Well, you did the walking movements and the sun rising/falling well, but I had to restart the movie a couple of times to be able to see what he was thinking. That could be stopped with the audio, as others said. A dark sound in the background would make this more compelling, and the artistry of the buildings seemed a little lazy to me. It's nice that you cared enough to even put it there, but it would be better if it were gray shadows with smog in the air (I think the style is called. . .impressionism? I forget). Still, it's pretty good, and I enjoyed it, even though I haven't even heard of "The Stranger". Also, it would have been overall better should you have put a person walking a dog or even a tree to be walked past, making it seem more of a city rather than a big gray block behind. You did a good job though, and I hope to see more from you. Good job compadre, you deserved the B.
yeah I know, if I ever get back to it I will make it much better but the project was just really rushed and it turned out this shotty way, THANK YOU FOR REVIEW.
They don't care how you do it, as long as they know you've learned something, as long as they get the satisfaction of forcing you to learn something, whether what you've learned benefits you in the long run, ot not. I digress, however. That was good, under the circumstances (although, I haven't read the book, so it was really just a buch of strange, abstract pictures, intertwined with metaphorical passages and "insight".) Yeah, the truth is, it's all a big war. A war between the teachers. A battle for respect, a battle for prestige, and a battle for appreciation. They already have power, which is localized from classroom. Sure, they may care about us, and they may want to help us, but they also have to make themselves look good in the eyes of their respective counties. Politics, man, politics!
Wow, thank you for your awesome review and insight! I have to somewhat agree with you as well, I put "somewhat" a lot of work into this piece of work. I, of course, started early on this project, and then procrastinated a bunch to finish this up at the last minute... but thanks for the awesome insight and such into "politics" because I didn't feel the grade really reflected...what not, so yeah BATTLE ROYALE.
...It isn't that bad. Maybe if you had spare time you could develop it, add some audio, a nice melancholy soundtrack and improve the animation a little. Good abstract piece. Keep it up :)
Thank you for the awesome feedback
Blue Pencilmate meets Red Pencilmate, but things don't go so well...
