It's FINALLY FINISHED!! God has this project bin in development for a long time; I was starting to think I wouldn't get it in for 2008.

This is a contemplative art game I made where I try to communicate what I went through with a life experience I once had. I really put my heart into this one, and I think it leaves me very emotionally vulnerable, but as long as I get my message across I think I'll be satisfied. I won't explicitly outline what the game's ABOUT or what you're SUPPOSED TO take away from it- I'll leave that up to you, the player, to make your own interpretations.

Now I know that some of you will be asking about a sequel, and believe me my inbox is allready full of suggestions for DUCK SIM 2009, but as I've mentioned in many interviews, I don't really BELIEVE in sequels. Saying that, DUCK SIM is planned to be a trilogy. I'm experimenting with this new episodic games trend and I think DUCK SIM is a perfect candidate to test the water (pun intended).

Thanks to everyone who offered help and gave support along the development of this, I am in severe financial debt to alot of people right now, but I'm confident that this is step 1 to making it all back.

So for anyone still reading this, I'll stop biding time and let you enjoy the game- Although I don't like calling it a "game", but more of an interactive experience.

Oh- Also, can you please report any glitches to me by way of either PM or E-mail, thank you.

Beautiful...

Contrasting from hardcore music to calmness, stunning first impression.
Every time his head goes under water I can only imagine what he's thinking.
It helped me amplify my own thoughts. The duck and I contemplating together, I felt an instant connection with him. I been deeply thinking about life recently,
so seeing the duck think with me makes me feel not alone.

p.s. Made the duck dwell underwater for a while to see if he'd drown, but he won't. That displays his will power to keep living. An inspiration to everyone.

I Got the Message.

I just discovered the meaning of life at the start of level 2. Making the Duck leave his home at the little lake was pretty hard, but was worth the sacrifice. The level where you fight that giant statue/Fish thing (I think it's level 6, or 7) is just epic! EPIC! But i think you should make the ninja horses a little easier... Because they always throw me back to 1 with their kick. After all that, discovering how amazing the life of a duck is, i'm already going to the south meet my duck comrades. I'll try to get on their group. Because... their life is so awesome! Thanks for opening my eyes, my friend!
