The challenge is to construct a square block of numbered cubes, arranged in such a way that every possible row, column and side around the block contains each of the numbers 1 - 9.

Meanwhile inside the block, every 3×3 section, sliced vertically or horizontally, also consists of the digits 1 - 9. So pit your wits against the invisible force of the 27 cubes in this ingenious puzzle.

You guys have really hit the nail on the head. A very original concept with even more original game play! I could sit here for hours and play this game. The integration of mouse control and key control make this a pleasure to use.

"Very well executed concept, however..."

Now I also realize that you are not an Indy flash developer and you just created what you were hired to create and posted it here because of the direct access to your client's target audience, geeks and I think that is fine as long as it is done tastefully and entertainingly which I believe it was for the most part. However if you are going to make a giant advertisement for a product under the guise of a game, a very well built and coded game I'll admit, but still the main purpose of this submission is to sell the real life puzzle game, then we expect perfection, and support from the author. That said, I think the interface is wonderfully done and very easy to use and understand so kudos on that.

In the end the game itself gets an 7. It has decent graphics, great interface design, very easy to use, a nice concept, but it has no compelling audio, and it's really just a giant advertisement so it lost some points there. Though because I was so impressed with the game itself it didn't lose too many points because of it's drawbacks.

Also I don't expect the author to be responding to comments, reviews and or private messages because of the nature of the submission, though I don't hold any grudge against the author for that.. It's literally here to draw attention to the product, however since it is at least entertaining I won't throw a fit about that even though this is not technically the most appropriate place to do that. However as a voice to marketers, I can only suggest that when pulling off a move like this, you will receive a much greater response by interacting with the community.

Thanks for your great comments!

We are a very small self-funded group of guys and we have our day job as website developers, and on the side we have developed 4D Sudoku hand-held and online.

This has been coded by one guy solidly for over a year, He is our super-talented guru daddy ;-)

We wanted the online game to be superb in its own right and did not want it to be an online ad at all, and I feel we have achieved that. We feel that the two products work hand in hand together very well.

We also invented the hand-held game and manufactured it without any games company anywhere near us as we wanted to do this without the big guns taking all the glory. We have managed to do all this without one penny of funding from anyone.

We have some great things in mind for the online game coming early next year, with live realtime competitions, and much more.

We felt that as we had put all our time and money into both of these online and offline products no one would mind our little ad so that we could actually make a few bucks too ;-)

"Very cool"

Cool game and interface. I would totally play the handheld version, but this is way too complicated for a flash game. At least to hold my attention. Don't get me wrong, everything about the game screams the fun of sudoku. But, I don't play flash sudoku either. As an advert for the physical game it rocks. As a flash game, too time consuming. The only bennefit of the flash game is that the flash game will tell you (i would hope) if you get it wrong. Just doesn't seem worth it to me. But really well done. :D.

Thanks so m uch for your positive feedback!

It is amazing but we had a guy from the US airforce complete the online game in 10 minutes! just a few weeks ago, even we cant do that ;-) He won himself a hand-held game and just completed that in 2 hours, they are all different sets of numbers too

Thanks for your kind words, we actually do have a hints feature, under the help button, that once you have had too many hints it turns into a cheats guide.

We did this two tier help so that players could get onto the high score and win a hand-held game if they get in the top 20 buy using hints, if they use cheats they still get on the high score but no prizes can be won.
