"I Fell in Love With The Majesty of Colors" is a pixel-horror game that puts the player behind the tentacles of a titanic, writhing sea creature. It's a tale of love, loss, and balloons with five different endings. Will you befriend the humans or fight them? The choice is up to you.

This game was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Daniel Benmergui's "I Wish I Were the Moon." For my blog and podcast, check out .

Newgrounds denizen Wormie made fan art for the game, which you can see at http://dangertable.devian

That was nice.

Good Points: I loved the writing, idea, and overall concept. I also liked the sound, it was very clear and real in contrast with the 8-bit graphics.

Bad Points: When I think Cthulu, I don't think 8-bit graphics. I think a more illustrated approach should've been taken for this. You could have at least made everything bigger so you could've made everything more detailed. Also, it wasn't really much of a game. Plus, it was pretty short. I probably spent 5 minutes with it to get all of the endings and then I was done.

But what it WAS about telling a story, and you did that quite well.

Nothing special. Had a moving story though and was well written.

Good movie, as it were.

Really, that was all it actually was. It was very highly acclaimed, but in the game section. Its just a slightly interactive movie. So I can't give it full props being in the game section. If it were put into the movie section it would have made sense to me. But at the time I was looking for an actual game to play. Maybe I just don't get the point of it, but it would be a better idea to put it in a different section so you don't mislead me and some of the others. Excellent idea, bad execution.
