"I Fell in Love With The Majesty of Colors" is a pixel-horror game that puts the player behind the tentacles of a titanic, writhing sea creature. It's a tale of love, loss, and balloons with five different endings. Will you befriend the humans or fight them? The choice is up to you.

Hold down the mouse button to reach toward the cursor. Release the mouse button to let go of what you're holding. You can click to skip the text in the opening and closing cutscenes.

This game was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Daniel Benmergui's "I Wish I Were the Moon." For my blog and podcast, check out http://ludusnovus.net .

Newgrounds denizen Wormie made fan art for the game, which you can see at http://dangertable.devian tart.com/art/The-Majesty-

It was "OK"

Nothing special. Had a moving story though and was well written.

Good movie, as it were.

Really, that was all it actually was. It was very highly acclaimed, but in the game section. Its just a slightly interactive movie. So I can't give it full props being in the game section. If it were put into the movie section it would have made sense to me. But at the time I was looking for an actual game to play. Maybe I just don't get the point of it, but it would be a better idea to put it in a different section so you don't mislead me and some of the others. Excellent idea, bad execution.

It is a good artistic game. Not especially remarkable, and nothing that strays too far from the usual "art game" path, be it the minimalistic gameplay, zen qualities and the bittersweet sensibility.
It is well done, makes it´s point and do it classy and to the point.
Perhaps now that the "art game" concept is so well grounded, gamemakers could try to take the "subgenre" to another levels, adding different ingredients to the formula.
As it is, it´s good.
