Flashteroids is a 3D Flash 9 shooter based on the Papervision engine. In the game your object is to destroy as many astroids and various other enemies for points. At the end of each level points can be used to purchase upgrades.

"Brings me back."

The polygonal 3d graphics and the simple SFX brought be back, man, to Super NES, with Starfox. Anyone remember that? But I digress. The game was awesome, although not my favorite type I have to admit this game was awesome. Only played one level because I didn't have a great deal of time, in fact I have to rush this review.

menu was cool but made me dizzy. the instructions could have added that you lost points based on how many shots you fired. Or maybe it was there and I missed. it.
Liked the game a lot. Nice job.

Thanks for the review CreepingDeath,

I have now removed the thing that decreases your score when you fire, it was primarily in there before as a performance contraint (hold your fire to save your fps).

Hope this change improves the game :D

was this made with flash cs3 3d graphics? it's great and very addictive. You can handle 3d games so you should make more :)
I do have to give it a nine because every level looked the same.

Thanks for the comments and great score. The game was made thanks to Papervision, an API for programming 3D in flash 9, check it out if you are interested ;)

"Pretty decent!"

Its very well done, a plus is the small tips in the menu ("Does the music bother you?") ect.. Its not really my style of game, but overall. Its good!
