UPDATE : last two gem spawnrate was really very rare ( < 0.002%) we changed it to something more managable. The droprate should be around 5 - 10 percent now.

WASD to move, J to attack. K to boost, L to limit break (depends on sword type) press spacebar to open the upgrade/stat menu ingame.
Great, but wheres the original?
Where's the original game where you have to go through the dozen levels, I would like to play it. I am also in agreement with the posters below me about the gems going out of boundaries because that is where you most often hit the rat and therefore most gems go off the stage.
This was quite fun, but I'd like to ask for more responsive controls, more boss forms, and most of all, make it so the last two stones are less rare ¬¬, I beat the game quite easily on all modes (granted I did die once in master mode, but was revived), and even when I was TRYING and WAITING for the thief for almost 10 minutes to get amethyst drops for the last weapon I just didn't get them, maybe I'm just unlucky, but I wouldn't know

More frustrating than hard
It's a really good game, but there are all those small things that kept me from really liking it. There is no way to heal, and it doesn't show you how many lives you have left. It always seemed like I was getting every type of stone except the ones that I needed, so the "rarity" of the stones didn't matter much. There are also attacks that I can't seem to dodge no matter what I try, and sometimes, when I picked up the stones, the stone I picked up were one kind but the stone that went into my pack were different. It was a relly good game, but a few small tweaks would have made it better.
It was supposed to be such an awsome game... You got everything perfect, but the glitches are horrid!
1-Cant pick up gems half the time so ure screwed
2-if you the theif while hes comeing out/comeing in. The gems drop off screen
3- The drop percent is all KINDS of screwed up. Im getting 20 purples and like 20 crystal things, yet all i need is a little newby white crystal or a black matter ore, and it just WONT give it to me. Yet i get these super rare gems over and over..>
OH and WTF is up with the gem miscunseption? I'll finnaly pick up a gem i need, and look into the inventor and BAM, it added it to ANOTHER gem!
I just spent, ONE game, On master, for the last HOUR, STAYING ALIVE TO GET THE BEST SWORD, I KEPT HITTING THE THEIF OER AND OVER
and ALL it wuold give me NOW is little white crystal things. I needed TWO purples, i finnaly get one, look in my invo, and weres it at?...ITS IN MY CRYSTAL SUPPLY! , After 45 minuits, i finnaly get the rare crystal, and it turns into a purple one! -.- I mean, itslike every gem you NEED, it seems that when you pick it up, *IF YOU EVEN CAN* it turns into something else thats needless!
Overall great game though, just the glitches are a horrid downfall that almost ruin the game...and proves to be o much higher dificulty because of the glitches.
I never did get to use the final sword -.-
It's a good game, and I had a lot of fun playing it.
But I found a couple of errors.
1. In easy and normal mode, the amenthyst counter seems broken. It always says 1, no matter how many of 'em I get.
2. The amenthyst and adamentine spawns are a bit messed up. In master mode, I needed one more of each to upgrade to the fourth sword. But the thief only dropped the white stones for some reason. I ended up with 25 of those when I killed the boss, still no upgrade. confused the hell outta me.
At any rate, overall a very good game, and I look forward to the sequel.
