Ok, so this is another project for tech class that hasn't been graded yet. This has gone far beyond what my teacher asked me to do. Originaly, this project was supposed to be a simple dodge/catch the ball game. Instead, i combined "Alien Anihalators" with my bizzare knowledge of Godzilla to create this masterpiece.
Questions that i think you'll ask me:
- Why can't I select all levels right away? "This is because there was an unknown logic error in the code, even though i've checked everything. If you are able to play all five levels from the beginning, Medium and Easy wouldn't work"
-Why can't i shoot the green ones? "The code i was using permitted me to have more than one enemy on screen, but only allowed one of them to be able to be destroyed."
-Why doesn't the basic attack work on the black one? "I did that on purpose, to boost the difficulty"
-Why can i only move left and right?" Duh, it's a horizontal shooter"
-Why do the enemies bounce instead of trying to dodge the bullets? "I'm not quite sure how to do that yet"
-Why is your character only hurt when shot in the head? "Coz that's Godzillas weak point!"
-Why is ZOMG! so hard? "Can't you read? It's ZOMG!"

I'm also going to do something i have never done before: If you enjoyed this, please SAY SO! I'm sick of the negative comments, the "It's a start", and the "WTF do you think you're doing?"!
Honestly, it's people like that that make me never want to program again, goddanmit!
Positivem comments are much more welcome than the negative ones! Even something short like "I like it" will suffice!
and FYI i got 125% on this, bitches! your all just used to legendaryFrog standard stuff and don't pay attention to the things that have potential.

I give it a 2 for the effort, but please, work on the art and size because even though you had your "bizzare" knowledge of Godzilla, he was still WAY too large (unless it was a place where there were only houses ;)) The aliens were too fast, making the laser useless, because you couldnt hit them anyway. You just had to catch them with your head, making you lose your HP.
All in all, practise a little more and you might have potential. I'll definetely check out other flashes of yours.

It's a start
-Instructions: the spacebar skips frames. use "next" and "previous" buttons.
-Gameplay: The background is a classic mistake. I know you were going for the feel of a real city, but it was impossible to see anything--including Godzilla. Both lizard and enemies moved too fast to have any real control. Half the screen was occupied by a status bar, also distracting from the lower half; this needs to be MUCH smaller. Finally, you need sound effects to make the game more immersive.
Kudos for trying, but you have a long way to go. Do some fine-tuning, maybe get your friends to test it for you, and then resubmit.

ummm ok well.
well umm ok there is alot of things you could do to make this game better A) add more attacks mabby a rechargabel bome of sorts that destroys all enamys on the screen. B) i know that you could find somthing better for a background. C) it started off being almost imposabel to play the instuctions dont give you any help at all its the stoys to the game i might have missunderstood that part.
to add im sure you could come up with alot of other things to add but over all good try for a game its a good idea and im giveing you 3 stars because i subtracted 8 from 10 because of its game play not being that fun and i added 1 because it was a great idea.
